A sustainable weighted blanket startup sought to transform a niche product into a household item —from artificial and intimidating to natural and inviting. I worked directly with the founder to coin the brand name and shape an identity that reflects the soft, soothing nature of the product. From this strategic foundation, Bearaby could own not only a market share but a mindset.
Leveraging the striking beauty of the blankets and a refreshingly playful persona, we used social media to target restless Millennials and grow a community. Engaging email campaigns, direct mailers, and a holiday pop-up increased brand exposure. Today Bearaby is not only a leader in the weighted blanket category, but an influential lifestyle brand.
